You are correct--it wasn't a horrible speech, and actually, I think Kerry did a good job of bringing up domestic issues that the GOP should address: healthcare, taxes, education, outsourcing.
I also think that Kerry's bashing of Ashcroft will resonate.
It appears to resonate with YOU. It will have the reverse effect on most Americans.
July 22,2004 welcome and I think you are wrong!
What are you talking about?
Ah. I see. "Newbie nonsense".
Political awareness primer: All politicians bring up "hot" issues; some even propose solutions; some have a record of success.
Review question: Which candidate has a record of successfully addressing "hot button" issues? (Hint: Distributing Senator Heinz money to anti-American organizations does not qualify as "successfully addressing issues".)
Is it just me or was Sen. Kerry trying very hard to run as a Republican? Sure, he threw in some liberal talking points to keep the party faithful interested. But altogether he's talking like a Pubbie. It'll be interesting to see how the Green Party and Nader benefit from this.
Maybe you have been busy and have missed receiving 2TAX CUTS, also did you know that as far as education is concerned,GWB signed into law the NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND iniative.BTW. Heinz corporation has outsourced 57 companies!
I also think that Kerry's bashing of Ashcroft will resonate.
