The ballerinas dancing at the Philharmonic Center for the Arts Tuesday night had everything you'd expect: tutus, tiaras, garland headpieces, fake eyelashes, lipstick and eye shadow.
But these ballerinas had something a little extra under their tutus: hairy armpits and, instead of cleavage, dark, curly chest hair.
It was Les Ballets Trocadero De Monte Carlo, an all-male ballet troupe, who sport faux Russian names such as Vera Namethatunenova, Marcia Gertrudes Clubfoot, Nicholas Khachafallenjar and Ida Nevasayneva. AND JON KERAKOVA.
This is the ballet troupe for little boys who dreamed of growing up and dancing ballet — only they wanted to dance the part of the princess, not the prince. The Trocks, as they're affectionately known,
