Hey Gang,
I can't stand it anymore; I have to drop you a short note w/ my analysis of the Dem Nat'l Convention that is fascinating me this week.
DEMOCRAT Senator from GA Zell Miller said it perfectly last night: These 4 days are a sham.
I've been telling anyone w/in earshot all week that I'm sick of the lies and the hypocrisy. ALL the dem challengers have been calling our Prez a liar, a murderer & a traitor for TEN MONTHS now on a daily basis. Yet the 'marching orders' for speeches this wk from DNC handlers is, "Don't bash the President. Focus on your positive plans for America. Be warm and patriotic and hawkish on defense."
Peace, Love, Dove. It's the height of hypocrisy.
Now I'm not so much worried by the utter disregard for consistency & honesty among the DNC leaders and packagers. They (AlGore, Howard Dean, da Hildabeast, Good Ol' Bill 'Zipper Freedom' Clinton, Terry McAwful, Theresa 'Shove It' Heinz, Flip-Flop King John Kerry, Boy Wonder John Edwards, Slime Film Master Michael Moore, et al.) have proven themselves over most of a year to be shamelessly dishonest, half-truth purveyors, and all-around untrustworthy folks. THEY don't surprise me at this pt.
What worries me the most is the possibility--nay, probability--that tens of millions of Americans will swallow--hook, line and sinker--their propaganda.
To wit: the 9/11 Commission Report has recently pubbed, with its UNANIMOUS conclusion that our Prez acted on CONSISTENT INTEL reports that Saddam had WMD stockpiles. ALL intel grps AGREED -- the CIA here, MI-6 in Britain, and Vladimir Putin's Russian intel spooks -- that Bush acted in good faith, honestly taking intel reports into account as he planned and executed a strategy to take out Saddam before he took us out.
And yet the Dem Slimemasters refuse the let the facts cramp their style. They STILL call da Prez a liar. Preposterous!!!!
Let me ask you, my friend: Are YOU worried about the Dems' lies getting thru to hordes of American voters? Or am I just paranoid? Pls write me w/ your opinion.
A couple of other notes and I'll let ya go.
This communications guru (aka, Your Humble Correspondent) has really enjoyed watching some speeches this week, even though they are filled w/ lies and half-truths. Some of the finest speechwriters in the free world are displaying their skills, and just on a communications basis alone, there have been a few noteworthy highlights:
+ + Hillary put on a good face (what is it, her 3rd or 4th facelift face?) and showed her rock-star appeal in introducing her ex husband. When she hides her vindictive side, she can come across pretty well. But every time I see her, her hair is shorter. What will she do, go with a military buzz cut next month? I don't care how nice her pants suits are, that wld look weird.
+ + Ol' Bill showed why he can hold an audience in the palm of his hand. Given his lassiez-fare history on terror, he shld be ashamed. But he's not; he's out there charming audiences whenever possible.
+ + I missed Rev. Al's tirade last night, that must've been a doozy. he's a preacher at heart, and much more entertaining than Jesse. Jesse seems to have retired from the limelight; he is happy just making those child-care payments for all his love children each month. He is a multi- multi-millionaire from decades of shakedown fraud and so it's the life of ease for him.
+ + Illinois Senate candidate Barack Obama gave a killer speech, too. He is running unopposed in Illinois, my home state, since Dems and the Chicago media shot down the GOP candidate Jack Ryan over divorce papers. The talk among Dems is that this young man cld run for Prez someday. I'd say, watch out for this guy. Jessie Jr., a Congressman from Chicago, has NOT taken up his father's mantle as THE nat'l black leader, but this guy easily could. Watch out, Rev. Al.
+ + Contrary to most analysts' reports, I think Theresa Heinz Kerry's speech was a winner. It was warm, honest, not packaged (or at least felt that way, she used her words as a foreigner) and it connected BIG TIME w/ feminist types, a very important audience for the Dems. Plus, it took the heat off her for her recent "shove it" outburst to a reporter. She did some cute self-deprecating humor abt that and took all the hot air out of the flap.
++ Boy Wonder John Edwards' speech last night was a REAL DOOZY. This guy shld out-shine Kerry during the campaign (at least I'm hoping this occurs). In fact, we conservatives shld be very thankful that Edwards was not chosen to head the ticket; he wld give our Prez a run for his money. His speech was patriotic and moderate and wow--I can see why this guy made $100 Million one year as a personal injury att'y. His daughter's intro of her Mom was money in the bank also.
My friends, pls continue to pray for the outcome of this election, and to talk up among your friends and colleagues the need to REGISTER and VOTE. It is by no means in the bag; when Ralph Reed says it's going to be close, this worries me.
My final point is, check out this link that tells how Kerry's sham 4-month 'tour of duty' in Vietnam was really just a PR shoot for his political future. I think that his enlisting was also just a PR move. This report shows the truth of these points. The author will be pubbed by Regnery, and they are a reliable grp.

Stay tuned TONITE for the Kerry Video: it was produced by none other than Steven Spielberg. Ugh. Star Wars meets Lurch the Butler (from "The Adams Family" TV show). Let me go take a nap in my coffin...
Thanks for the post and welcome aboard...

The Rat party has always been a fraud.
"What worries me the most is the possibility--nay, probability--that tens of millions of Americans will swallow--hook, line and sinker--their propaganda. "
I've been told 40% of Americans are brain dead, sure they will gets lots of votes. Especially California and New York. By the way, my definition of brain dead is a person that will accept lies instead of truth.
The producer,Biff, that David Letterman sent to cover the DNC said last night the whole thing was a waste of time.
The guy looked bored to death with the whole thing and Letterman even asked him if he was okay. One of the funniest things I've ever seen.
"Lurch, the Butler" - good description.
You really should have watched last night, Edwards and Sharpton were good. In fact, part of Sharpton's speech was aimed directly at the President in answer to comments the President made last week.
Edwards has come up with a new theme - "Hope is on the Way".
Easy to remember and rhymns somewhat. Tonight though...
I forgot about that. He sure did, didn't he. Waste of money is what I think he said, lol.
Voters need to ask themselves, if Kerry censors his own convention, what will he censor if he is President?
But, thanks be to God that the overwhelming majority of the disinterested, ignorant, uninformed, easily-swayed American electorate is not even tuning in to the Dim-o-rats convention so they can be duped into voting for Flip-Flop and Mop-Top.
Bump.
No, I'm not worried but paranoia is understandable when you see a well delivered speech from the left - such as the one Kerry gave last night. Kerry will get a boost in the polls because of it but the boost will be short-term. His speech was littered with inconsistencies...Kerry may really believe he can deliver on all the things that he touched on in his speech but those things defy the economic smell test and rational human behavior...if only there were an endless supply of money that carried its worth even as the mints printed it in bulk and the congress doled it out through the federal bureaucracy could Kerry's ideas work. The punditry will be all over him during the next 10 days and before you know it the poll-bounce will gone and he'll have to go back to the drawing board before the debates kick off.
The democrat convention in Boston was nothing but an exercise in putting a new dress on an old whore. The convention planners had to hide all their extremists from public view. We DID NOT SEE the hateful gays and lesbians. We DID NOT SEE the violent Marxists that hate freedom and individual wealth, yet want to run the country. We DID NOT SEE the hateful atheists, Christian haters and "culture-only" Jews who hate the spirtual Jews. We DID NOT SEE the hateful educationalists who design the perverse curricula indoctrinating our children with hate-America and free-sex ideas they hate parents who would raise children with ethics and morals. We DID NOT SEE the vile and hateful abortionists rejoicing as they kill baby after baby and strive to silence the pro-lifers. We DID NOT SEE the union thugs who shake down corporations and beat up those that just want to work. We DID NOT SEE the bureaucrats that run the legions of non-performing, paper-shuffling goobermint employees (military excepted) who vote democrat just because a republican president might actually ask them to work. We DID NOT SEE envious socialists that want to sap the productivity of the producers and capitalists. We DID NOT SEE the hateful racial "dividers" who blame the evil white man for all their cultural problems, and demand more and more of the your hard labors. We DID NOT SEE the open-border racists who invite floods of illegals into this country and then encourage them to sign up for all the freebees. We DID NOT SEE the true face of the democrats in the Boston convention. They were there indeed, but, they had to sit on their hands and keep their mouths closed. They looked like you and me, but they were there.
Except for their voting base, the only way the democrats can convince people to vote for them is to pretend they are normal people. Being democrat is synonymous with being dishonest. You can dress them up, but you cant change whats inside theyre rotten to the core.
