To: Former Military Chick

Isn't it interesting that so many of these protest groups are "interfaith" organizations? So called communities of faith that pick and choose those portions of the Bible that fit their world view.

Not to nitpick, but the bible does also state that it's OK to own slaves. Not picking and choosing would be kinda... silly.

No, there is big liberal funding of something called the Interfaith Initiative. It has the usual touchy-feely goals and is basically a way to co-opt and organize participating churches which tend to be the same old mainline denominations that have lost their way. Then they use the church participation in their PR for "community based health care" and so forth.
