The Breck Girl dropped out of the NC Senate campaign as it was clear he was going to lose and lose big. The other Dem primary canidates - including Kerry - made note of this.

Edwards' performance tonight was not good. It may appeal to the dem/lib/socialist base, but it will not appeal to the mainstream at all.

The very fact that the talking heads are basically mocking him tonight is early proof of that fact.

Amen! What has that loser done for our state? Nothing positive that I can think of. Even the Mayor of Charlotte is quoted as saying they guy is a loser. He said he spoke with Edwards for about 15 minutes regarding issues in Charlotte. Since Charlotte is the biggest city in the state, I think the Mayor was looking for a little bit of time or something from Edwards.
