All they've done so far is show how meanspirited they are...and unoriginal.

Edwards' speech was cobbled together with a thousand cliches and lines stolen from everyone including George Bush and Dick Cheney!

That leaves them one more day to accomplish it.

Oh, they're gonna get more $inator John F'ing Heinz Al Qerry than they can handle tomorrow night.

That's not good news for the Democrats.

Zell MILLER is ripping Kerry/Edward to shreds on MSNBC right now.

"Talk is Cheap....Words are Cheap"

And he just pointed out to Brokaw that Cleland(SP) was not defeated by what Dems bogusly call low tactics.
He pointed out that Cleland's(SP) voting record (liberal) , and the fact that he ran against a better candidate is why Max lost.

Miller....the old Marine sticks it to the liberals again.

Chris Matthews: My only response to this speech tonight is "bingo".

Well, maybe as in "there was a man who had a dog and Bingo was his name-o, B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O, etc"

Candy Crowley on CNN saying Rev. Sharpton got a much better response from the delegates than did Edwards!

Really?

The DUmmies will be cancelling cable tomorrow!

The goal of this convention was to introduce John Kerry to America

These idiots are going to soak in all the military compliments tomorrow, and forget all the kerry anti military stuff (my true feelings have too many explitives to express here).

Show him shouting "Hope is on the Way" answered by the crowd, then show Cheney at the 2000 convention saying "Help is on the Way" answered by the crowd

Isn't it ironic that Clinton was the man from Hope and now the motto is Hope is on the Way ?

Been watching these conventions since 1992 and this one just has no spark. If the country hated Bush as much as people say then the ratings would not be so low. There is no drama, just fake optimisim. Its the Dole convention.

He was so over hyped, he never reached expectations. It is interesting how they are trying to turn into hawks, using David Copperfield smoke and mirrors.

but he will make kerry seem like as dull as ditch water tomorrow night. this ticket is JUST F'ed up . . . . these guys actually compliment each other's weaknesses. great strategy, john.

Have they done it yet? I'm still waiting. From reading all the posts tonight, all the speakers at best gave Kerry a tepid endorsement.

I suggest you parse the early sections of Sharpton's speech...he did not endorse Kerry..I'll try to dig it up but I suspect noone will bother to transcript that rant...

Kerry will be anti-climatic..........I can hear the DUD now. He'll say he has a PLAN for.....etc. He'll tell us when he and Edwards get the WH.

He wants voters to vote for a PIG IN A POKE.

The democrats have a big problem with the South.

This is how they chose to handle it.

Only Edwards will ever make these comments. Kerry can't say them without another flipflop. The press will likely make him say the words though, and the suspision of lies and distortions will become more real in the voters eyes.

Bush should be able to undercut them by staying focused and listing all the accomplishments of the last four with a firm explanation of what the next four will look like.

I also expect about 30-35 thousand troops, mostly guard and reserve to come home in a medium draw down.

The polls should look much better by the end of Sept.

I don't know about contrary beyond the war issue, but they are talking about prosperity though major taxing of the prosperous.
About isolating America from the world by taxing companies massively for working outside of the US, which would make Major businesses and Corporations leave the USA for off shore safe harbors.
Socialized medicine, and redistributing wealth. COMMUNISM.

Edwards speech was an excellent exercise in race baiting and lying. He pandered or tried to everyone in the US.

Sorry, but it will play to younger voters.

Don't be so sure. See here

I have noticed a real trend toward more conservatism in young people.
