I'm honored that you'd think that.

Bob Dole is one of my favorite politicians/statesman, even though he draws a lot of flack from certain elements within the conservative movement.

I find it highly ironic that so many "conservatives" who rejoiced at his departure from the senate-and actively worked to stop Alan Simpson from succeeding him as senate majority leader-were left with someone who was not one-tenth the leader that Dole was.

The country would be much better off if Sen. Dole was still Senate Majority Leader. Frist has been a major disappointment. So much that, in my view, it probably killed his presidential hopes.
