Yep...Some do use slug guns for....Venture to say..small minority back in Missouri/MidWest...Must be different in Mass.

I've never seen slug barrels on a double-barrel, but I won't go so far as to say they don't exist.

I don't hunt, though. I mostly have the 'evil black composite' kind of weapon :)

In Indiana if you hunt deer with a gun, you must use a shotgun...less range than a rifle...

That's also what 0/0 buckshot was invented for. Very useful in heavy brush country, where long shots were not possible.
