IN center states that is all you can hunt with, except when you use a BOW.
Don't judge hunting laws across the country by you state.
My Remington 1100 is a 12 gauge slug gun for hunting deer.

Actually a lot of people. My husband uses a 12 gauge with slugs, and I've used a 16 and 20 gauge with slugs. No scopes.
