Yes, he is a good man but not a stupid one. He had to know Kennedy would stab him in the back. Bush really tried to be the unifier he said he was, in the beginning.
I live in South Texas and wish they would do something about the borders. I think the President may be catering to the Hispanics on this matter.
I liked him as Governor and he knows how to run things. Anyway, thanks for your nice reply.
