I'm sorry, but this picture is NOT funny. Kerry may be an a$$, but the "bunny suit" (that's what they are called at KSC) is standard garb for those entering the space shuttle crew module. It keeps dirt, hair, and dander out of the crew module as much as possible.

So do all the SCOs (spacecraft operators) at KSC who work in the crew module every day look like idiots, too? They wear the same thing.

Yes, Kerry absolutely looks like an idiot, and the SCOs do NOT look like an idiot...just like Dukakis looked like an idiot, and tankers do not look like idiots.

No, Kerry is being mocked for the same reason Dukakis was. This was a photo op gone bad. Instead of portraying him as good natured, adventurous and in touch with the citizens of Florida it revealed to the nation the character of someone even his most ardent supporters would have difficulty taking seriously.

You have not heard anyone to the best of my knowledge mock those that are committed to NASA service. You have heard defense of NASA and how Kerry would be no friend to them if elected.

And, just a hunch, but I have a feeling the majority of those serving in NASA do not take the appearance of their "bunny suits" as seriously as you do. They serve a good purpose but they aren't going to start a fashion trend.

I respect NASA workers, and people who serve our armed forces in tanks, for that matter. But the Kerry and Dukakis pics are hilarious, not because of the uniform, but because of the dork within.

Dukakis and kerry look like the whimpy, girly men they are no matter what they're wearing.

Kerry blamed the catcher for being nervous when he couldn't throw a baseball. He's blaming NASA for releasing photos that he posed for. His wife is blaming a reporter for her falsehood that was proven moments later.
