The purpose of Ronnie Jr. was to bash bush by his presence and his subject. The point was not stem cells, the point was to attack a decision the left is trying to paint as a kooky religious based decision.

You don't need to be religious to have objections to embryonic stem cell research.

Even his simple explanation of how it will be administered sounded frighteningly stupid.

"Ram this long needle into your brain, whammo! CURED!"

One more day to see if my prediction that OBL is killed comes true. Tomorrow I'll see if that one year old prediction comes to fruition.

His cheeks are pretty red, but then again, they always are. My guess is 6 bottles of Chivas.

I predicted that Rummy would come on national TV in a hastily put together press conference with a smattering of press reporters and announce to the press and the world that Osama Bin Laden had been killed, right on the same day the Democrat nominee (in this case it's Kerry) speaks. This is the original, addendum below:

Furthermore, Rummy's voice echos throughout the Fleet Center and his face eminates on the JumboTron right above Effen.

I couldn't stand watching all of Teresa tonight...reading all these posts has been much more entertaining, LOL. :)

I read some pundits say it was the biggest waste of a prime-time speech in convention history...it wasn't really even about the candidate...I thought this might happen when I heard Teresa interviewed about the speech this afternoon and she said she had things to say and only offhandedly mentioned she would talk about her husband, way down on her list of subjects.

The third Heinz son refuses all involvement with the campaign...he is the Heinz's oldest... I have read hints that he is a Republican, as of course his father was, and isn't very happy about the whole Kerry thing...whether or not that is true, he is also said to be very private (I believe he's a teacher) and refuses to turn his life upside-down, just wants to be left alone. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for his mother's husband...

Well .. she's already said that she'd give up all her money just to have her husband back ..?? But .. I don't suppose that statement had any effect on Kerry.
