By their actions we will know them.

As you are likely aware, the idea of charity is not limited to Christianity. But Mr. Osama's own words convict him of not being a true follower of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Nevertheless, he is free to wear any label on his sleeve that he wishes.

Yah, I'll give you that. But there is a better way to say, "People can come to Christ through many experiences."

I totally ignore self-proclamations of Christian profession.
I'll make my own judgment on this issue based on his position on the killing of unborn children.
Nobody who facilitates the killing can claim to be a spreader of the Christian gospel.

Then exactly who are you, Mr. Osama, and Ron Reagan Jr. referring to when you make these statements? Just Christian fundamentalists in general? Hardly. The mainstream press understood exactly who Ron Jr. meant in his thinly veiled eulogy. As to Mr. Osama, who else could he be referring to? Just folks in general? But folks in general aren't in public office. And we're in a general election cycle. So once again, who was Mr. Osama referring to? I'll let you answer that one.

You are being dishonest. Again. How do you accidentally send an email on Free Republic? Posting and emailing are two separate and distinct editing screens. They cannot be confused with each other. Except perhaps by someone who is already confused by most everything else.

Why are you resorting to calling names? I thought that we could avoid that

I'm not sure why Obama's position of Christian duty to help the least amongst us is so unpopular here. Its confusing. Let me help you.
Christian assistance to those in need is very popular here.
However, we believe that this assistance is a personal decision and should be inspired by Christian faith. If I give my money to those whom I believe are deserving, that's Christian charity.
When the government takes my money and gives it to those whom it believes are deserving, that's theft. Socialist nonsense. And almost always wasteful and counterproductive.
Do you see the difference?
To: mrustow
Mr.Barack sounds like your garden variety new-age pagan to me. Followers of Jesus don't espouse any of the tenets that this man does. This guy is a false man and will be judged accordingly.

Senator Obama will be a disaster.
Hopefully we will pick up enough to at least break even......not lose Senate seats.

Do you feel the same way about the President? I feel that way about everybody.
Self-proclamations of Christianity need to be measured against actions, which as we all know, speak louder than words.
"By their fruits shall ye know them", as the Gospel says.
The fruit of true Christian life is not the killing of unborn children.
