John Kerry was in Vietnam. I was in Vietnam. I served my full tour. I was also witness to many Purple Heart awards.
I have some real questions for John Kerry. I would love to read his paperwork for the initial awards and just who signed off on them. I worked in a hospital with wounded and my question should be answered by the release of his files. There should be no reason to hide any of the paperwork.

Five Questions for Senator Kerry
Saturday, May 22, 2004 - Bruce Elliott

The next time you talk with one of your friends from the left ... ask the following questions, and expect straightforward answers. Let me know how it's going.
1. Why does John Kerry refuse to release his military medical records? What is he ashamed of? The doctor who treated him for his first Purple Heart said Kerry had a splinter in his arm from a US mortar round that Kerry had fired that scratched his arm. The splinter was about 1 cm long. His crew reported no enemy fire. That's legit?
2. Why does John Kerry refuse to release the FBI files kept on him during his days as an anti-war protester? What is he hiding?
3. Was John Kerry at the 1971 meeting of the VVAW in Kansas City when the assassination of U. S. Senators was discussed? At that meeting, what was his opinion - for or against?
4. Why will the Kerry campaign not release Teresa Heinz Kerry's complete federal income tax returns? Are there organizations to which she has contributed whose issues come before the President? Without full disclosure, how would we know of any conflict of interest issues?
5. John Kerry has made much of his Vietnam service, and how that qualifies him for the presidency. In that light, what conclusions should one draw from the statements of every single one of his commanding officers in Vietnam, all of whom say that he is unfit to be Commander in Chief?
Enjoy.
