The three networks just yanked their live coverage of the psycho Tereza. Probably afraid of her pulled a "Deaner!"

Just curious, if by chance Armeggedon comes and Kerry wins, would Ms.Ketchup be the first foreign born first lady?

I say to let her keep speaking. The more she does the more Kerry's candidacy keeps it's "black eye."

I think Abagail Adams was born in London, England. I believe there was one other non-native born First Lady, but her name escapes me...

Very few are watching on the former "Big 3" anyway. The cable news channels will be covering it though. I might even watch, if I can find a barf bag to have handy, just in case.

I think Abagail Adams was born in London, England

Abagail Adams was born Abigail Smith in Weymouth, Mass in 1744.

However her daughter in law, Catherine Adams was the only First Lady born outside the United States. Louisa Catherine Adams did not come to this country until four years after she had married John Quincy Adams. Political enemies sometimes called her English. She was born in London to an English mother, Catherine Nuth Johnson, but her father was American--Joshua Johnson, of Maryland--and he served as United States consul after 1790.

Catherine Adams was born outsided what is now the United States, but there was no United States at the time of her birth. Thus, she, like the First Ladies that preceded her, plus the two that followed her, was born an English subject. Her father was from "The Colonies" however.

Oops. Wrong Adams. Next thing you know I'll be saying Eleanor Roosevelt was married to Teddy. My bad...

It's soo funny, next time you see her on an interview you gotta time it till she mentions her "late husband". Then count how many times she mentions John "Jack" Heinz. It's hilarious she mentions him EVERY time. The interviewer has to get her come back to talking about her current husband.

What is Therayza's legal name? My understanding is that it is still legally Theresa Heinz.

She should be the poster-girl for the anti-drug campaign.

I also understand that it was the Kerry campaign that "urged" her to add Kerry to her name. It is a recent event...

She is still in love with John Heinz.

But, it is disappointing to see his kids (the Heinz') are out stumping for their stepdad.

The question is did she even bother to actually take his name legally. I for one doubt it, or at least would like to know the date on which she did. She is being called Heinz Kerry, but I don't think that is her actual name.
