In my arguments with another side when I brought in her research about Europe accommodating Arabs in the centralized and organized way, that their current condition was predetermined by the steps taken back in the 70s, and that they knowingly turned their policy from support of Israel to support of Arabs, I was asked to bring other than Bat Ye'or sources. I am good in searching Internet, but found only scraps or echo of that agreements that were established back in 70s. May be all that documents are in French?

I did not have her books in-front of me, only the Internet sources.

Her footnotes are often Arabic legal documents and mind-numbing EU legal documents.

There is no way to argue this w/a leftist. These are unthoughts. The inculcated will become angry at you for even thinking these things and they will go ballistic if you have documentation. They will then proceed to discredit the documentation. Come up w/additional documentation and those, too will be discredited and you will be denigrated for having no credible sources. If you quote the various European Islamists (one in the Netherlands is also a lawyer and a Dutch citizen called Abu Jah Jah and is searchable), you will be accused of quoting out of context, being a racist or being too uneducated to understand nuance.

One of Ye'ors' main threads is dhimmitude. The left, the apologists for EU/UN/Islamists exhibit the mind set of the slave/serf. It has already happened.

I no longer even try w/those who have finished drinking the Kool-Aid. Sometimes, I listen to them spout, just to get the flavor of how they have adapted the talking points to particular situations. However, if it is someone important to you, you can simply begin a file of evidence from around the world:hate speech laws, activists sitting in churches to make sure no *hate* or *bias* or *politics* is spoken,Islamic call to prayer in Michigan, students role playing Islam in California public schools, mainstream Protestant *churches* discussing taking down their crosses in order to be *sensitive*,various civil rights groups protecting jihadis, et al. Document everything. Look specifically for sources that are not conservative or Jewish or Christian, as these will be dismissed as biased and ignorant.

But, I think it is a lost cause. Until we have to deal w/honor killings and gang rapes by Muslim youths and Christians being jailed, etc, no one will listen. Even when it becomes evident what is occurring, there will always be 20% who will willingly adhere to dhimmitude.
