Ah, ClintonBeGone, exactly what I'd expect in a post from you! To set the record straight, RTL of Michigan is solely responsible for Schwarz winning this primary. They selected the most dim witted candidate in Clark Bisbee. So don't go blaming Paul or any of the other 3 candidates in this race. I'm really glad that Joe won the primary. I hope that Barb List and Larry Galmish from RTL of Michigan both resign and get some real leadership for all of us pro-lifers out there.

I'm on to my next campaign job working for Angela Lindsay in the 69th! BTW, you'd probably consider her RINO too!

Glad to see you had something lined up right away. We all know how fast the campaign workers of a last place candidate go. Good luck. I hope your attitude changes and you'll be more sincere in your outreach to conservative groups. I saw right through you the minute you started posting here back in the spring. Fake phoney fraud. A bit of advise - the voters can see the same thing.

If you add ANY of the 'conservative' candidate's votes to Brad Smith, you have another RINO defeated.

She's running against "booze tax" Whitmer. That's all I need to know. Another big money leftist.

I'd let all the MSU students who vote there know about the liquor tax bill that uberleftist Grethen Whitmer WROTE, not to mention that she's done less for MSU than anyone there.

Dan, I grew up in Berrien County, the one that borders Indiana, and is right on Lake Michigan. I moved to Daytona Beach FL in 1977. I don't go back very much, but I did go back in 1992 to attend my 20 year(it actually was 22 cuz they bunched up 4 classes from River Valley High School for this particular) class reunion. That was in the last week of July 1992.

There was a FIERCE primary for sherrif of Berrien Co. going on while I was there, with the voting in August. IIRC, I saw
LOTS and LOTS of campaign signs with "Nick Smith for Sherrif" on them.

Is this the same "Nick Smith" with the "Brad" son that has been mentioned in this thread? I was just wondering. Thanks!

Different Nick Smith. Berrien County is also Congressman Fred Upton's home which is a neighboring district to the 7th.

Congressman Nick Smith is from Addison, which is I believe near the Lenawee/Hillsdale County border. Brad is the congressman's son.

Thanks for your reply Dan.

Edward Hutchinson was my rep in 1969, and on the first major family vacation( that wasn't somewhere in Michigan) we went to Washington DC. We met him in his office, and picked up the tickets for the White House tour that my parents had asked him to get for us(which was kinda like a "special" pass that was from his office with his signature) that gave us a longer, smaller, and much more personal tour.

I will never forget it.
