No big loss to Ann. There's plenty of sources for her fans to read her material. Most readers of Useless Today would've complained about her column anyway had they read it.

BTW, my favorite pic of Ann (saw it on TV--wish I could find it) is of her sitting on porch steps, holding a rifle, with a cigarette butt dangling out of her mouth.

It hurts her credibility when she argues that Democrats are beyond the pale when they refer to Republicans as 'Nazis', after having just begun her article by calling Democrats 'spawn of satan'. There may be no comparison (to put it mildly) in the looks department, but she is the right's version of Michael Moore: deliberately throwing out red meat to the fanatics on both sides, and willing to sacrifice reasoned discussion in order to prefer name-calling and hyperbole.
