Speaking of the Swifties......I came across a bit of information that James Rassman, the green beret lieutenant that Kerry apparently rescued was born in 1948, and rescued ("rescued?") in January of 1969. How many 20-year-old 1st Looie green berets were there? I mean, is it possible that somebody could join out of high school and get through basic, AIT, OCS, jump school, the Q-course, and get over to Vietnam in less than 30 months? I didn't get drafted 'til 1971, and at that time, I don't think this could have been possible.

(LBJ sent him to VN. Nixon expressed him home. And JfK's too dumb to tell them apart!)
