I thought the Republican convention in Philadelphia was the most uplifting patriotic convention I had ever seen.
At I have seen them all since Truman.

You're welcome to my share, although now that you've got me reconsidering the matter, the 1984 Republican convention was kind of interesting, as was the 1972 Democratic one (I'm still kicking myself for not having snagged a "McGovern/Eagleton" button). But I'll still opt for the one-page summary. You never get to see the really good stuff, which is the backstabbing in the smoky back rooms.
