If you doubt Armstrong's impact beyond cycling, take an hour and go read the guestbook at his website. The posts from cancer patients, their spouses, kids, parents, etc. are gut wrenching.

I must encourage you to always keep the faith. The faith in your doctors, the faith in the medicine, the faith in your family, and most importantly the faith in yourself.Seems to have missed the most important one. Oh well. Congrats to Lance.
