That a TERRORIST wants Bush out of the way speaks volumes.
So, if he were to be captured in the next few days, would they put him on ice until just prior to the election? Just wondering what you think.
> Arafathead ought to worry about himself more.
Actually, at this point I suspect the Israelis are
content to let him die of natural causes.
It's far more effective in the long run to kill off
everyone below him in his chain of command. Unlike
Yasser, none of these people have major symbolic value
with the EuroWeenies.
It already appears that Israel has sufficiently damaged
all of the various Pali terror orgs, that the survivors
are seeing openings and fighting amoungst themselves.
Leaving Arafat isolated, alone and powerless strikes me
as quite appealing.
Also, now that a story has been published on Arafat's
endorsement of Kerry, it will be facinating to see if
Yasser affirms, disclaims, or remains silent.
If the story gets legs, it will also be fun to watch the
K&E campaign respond to it.

I seriously doubt it, although the Dems will float that
theory because that's what they would do. I don't see
Bush allowing that event to be managed for political
gain (nor anything in the WoT, for that matter).
Now what WOULD happen, however, is that the admin would be
VERY careful about confirming, including not announcing
until after DNA tests. We've had far too many pre-mature
reports of various things, including the death of OBL,
that were later found to be not the case.
The Euroweenies you speak of are snakes. You'll recall the fuss they made when Israel dispatched that Hamas leader. But I imagine you're right about Arafat. Better to have a weak Arafat than a strong successor/usurper.
Another observation on your query ...
> So, if he were to be captured ...
Unless Pakistan, Iran or Saudi Arabia drop him off at a
US Embassy, it's now extremely unlikely that OBL will
be taken alive.
The recent SCOTUS decision on the Gitmo perps, and the
growing circus of Saddam's trial, make it clear that
there is no particulary benefit to capturing OBL alive.
I'm sure no one in the field will make any extra effort,
or take any risks, to do so.
Now if he is handed over, we need to hold him in an
isolated prison in the Iraqi desert, ostensibly under
Iraqi custody. This avoids US habeas, and makes a great
terrorist magnet (trap).
NSS...
Last dim that was in the white house treated Arafat like he was a worthy human and a legitimate dignatory rather than the terrorist louse that he is. Got him a very much undeserved Peace Prize. About like giving Vlad the impaler a humanitarian award.
The world's father of Islamoterrorism expects the same from Kerry.
thanks for posting the great (as usual) Ramirez cartoon...
Another foreign leader on board for Kerry! And he didn't run into him at Starbucks.
Foreign leaders for Kerry!
so who are the confirmed Kerry supporters? Saddam for sure. But NK's Il, Arrafat, any others?
I don't disagree with your point, however I do wish to correct you on a detail.
The "world's father of Islamoterrorism" was Mohammad himself. Everybody else since then has just been following the terrorist instruction manual he wrote titled "The Koran".
Mohammad, the bride of Satan and Arafat is among their multitudinous spawn.
That's more like it! :-)
