Eventually these folks will get it, the American's will prevail.
Let us hope anyway
This is highly interesting. Last week a US patrol was ambushed, and in the resulting fighting some 25 mutts were killed and about two dozen taken prisoner, at no loss to our forces. Now this battle, again with large enemy casualties and (so far as we know) no losses to ourselves. I think some things have changed in Iraq on the ground, tactically. We seem to have much better intelligence, that's obvious, but I wonder if something else is breaking our way also. Maybe the battle-hardened, savvy enemy forces are getting killed off and being replaced by green gomers who are easier to kill?
I think it's more like "Eventually these folks will get it" like in getting dead.
Thanks to the evil Rummy and GW another innocent Iraqi Wedding party has been slaughtered!
Sarcasm off!
Kill all of the terrorists in Iraq, Iran, and Syria. Then we and the rest of the world will be safer!
The major shift is the Iraqi people. On June 28th they discovered, for the first time in their lives, that some politicians won't lie to them. I think when the handover happened there was nobody more shocked than the Iraqi people.
"OohRah!"
I love our military.

With that piece of soothing news, I can go to bed, have pleasant dreams and look forward to the upcoming week.
