So what are the Aussies going to do? Throw rocks at them?

Australia is well armed and has a strong military - they are one of the premier members in the Allies. As such, they'll shoot them dead.

Any questions?

Regards, Ivan

I think he's upset by the gun ban down under. That is a pity, but it has no bearing here.

My favorite Aussie story was told to me by a close friend who lived there and in NZ for a couple years. He was in the outback somewhere hitch-hiking. A car pulls up and a couple of rough looking guys get out. There is blood all over the hood (boot). They open the trunk for him to throw his pack in and here is a couple of FNFAL rifles and a boatload of ammo and loose casings.

He aks: " So...what do fella's do for a living?"

The reply: "Anything in the murdering line, mate!"

Turns out they were doing bounty hunting on kangaroos or wallabees or some damn critter. Kind of a tight moment for my homeboy...

Australia is well armed

Not their citizens---- Mandatory turning in of personal guns a few short years ago. While many are buried in back yards, not enough, IMO.

No slight intended to the fine fighting forces of Australia. But my point is terrorists are disinclined to hit hard targets, such as those with military/LEO personnel. Now that the Aussie gov't is taking guns, and I guess swords from the law abiding citizens, what do they have left for self-defense?
