Be carefull when passing the Port Authority Bus Terminal, which shows up as a target on that OBL/NYC map. Is your building as secure as it was in the days following 09.11? That's one of the things that I've observed -- the security going into office buildings is still pretty tight. In fact, I recently had a problem getting into a mid-town building on 6th Ave. because my name was spelled incorrectly on the list that security was using to screen guests, and the person I was meeting with had to come down and get me. And yes, they searched my brief case.

My building is not as secure as it was after 9/11. The concierge desk is very good at screening outside visitors but the elevator guards are rather lax with people who work there. All you have to do is show a plastic castle key to get on the elevator. Half the time the security guard doesn't even look closely. I think most buildings will step it up starting tomorrow though.

That's the front door.

One wonders how good the security is at the 'servant's entrance'...
