The Palestinian Legislative Council’s (PLC) chairmanship warned on Monday of the gravity of the extremist Jewish threats to attack the Al-Aqsa Mosque, a statement issued by the PLC pointed out.
The statement held the Israeli government fully responsible for any harm the Mosque might be exposed to as well as the consequences for such a ‘terrorist action’.
PNA Minister of Work, Ghassan Al Khatib, told reporters that "the Palestinians look seriously at such threats," adding that President Yasser Arafat was deeply concerned at the issue.
