"His orders: when a coded signal comes in from GRU, transport the conventional bomb in his truck to a main oil pumping station north of Edmonton, and destroy it. He had been waiting nearly 40 years."

I guess this was no mere suitcase nuke, yes?

Great post on the seismic analysis. Thanks to you, I just had a scary flashback to my early college days when I was a geology major, before changing to something more conducive to a high GPA. The analysis of the "S" and "P" waves makes a lot of sense, and the timing with the Vancouver quake is pretty close to perfect. Whether you're right or wrong, I would have thought that for $99, the people who published the article about the alleged nuke would have checked with a geologist before citing the seismic activity as evidence of an underwater explosion.

What do you think would be the significance of the 19th of August?

Yes, I do believe we have known for some time the likely AQ targets. And I found it interesting that each time there was a threat, that red cross list was reposted- last time being June 12, 04.

Son works there- I have travelled there frequently- I monitor a number of other forums as well as the Islamic Center on Front Street in Steelton. (As luck would have it-on the Susquehanna). Would be a great jihadi payback for Ridge. Also could be totally obliterated with one strike- as they claim to be able to do. NYC, Philly- too large for this endeavor.

I think I remember that on the discussion thread that was linked they said that they were going to have a geo look at it. They probably should have had it reviewed BEFORE posting it to the world. Challenges the credibility of the nuke theory IMHO.

It would indeed be optical, as long as you're looking at the seismograph. :)

It was fairly substantial....it has dissipated. I did not live there but travelled there often from Gettysburg area. Son got a job there at a trucking company- Webster.

Interestingly- son told me last night that Webster FIRED the ME's working there. One ME did something wrong with the seal. Others were terrible drivers. They kept extensive records on them. The ME's threatened legal action, citing discrimination- but once they saw the hundreds of pages of damaging reports, it appears they slunk away.

Just a thought

Tahiya---belly dancer. Belly of Eagle. I'm still going with Harrisburg as the demo city- but Philly fits the profile as well.
