Hickey said he was unconcerned about Moore's appearance becoming a possible liability for Kerry, who has distanced himself from controversial liberals, including Moore and billionaire financier George Soros. ....Besides, Hickey said, the Democratic National Committee welcomes satellite groups to hold events throughout convention week. He said about 1,500 people have already signed up to take part in the events, which exceeds the 800-person occupancy limit at the Royal Sonesta Hotel.

I recall hearing Mike Gallagher say something on the radio about Kerry saying that he wasn't responsible for the obscenities and hatred spewed by the Hollywierd sorts at that fundraiser that Whoppi Goldberg made "humor" about the president's name and her anatomy...but Mike also went on to relate that Kerry said he WOULD be responsible for the convention. Does anyone have the reference where Kerry said that? If so, he can be held to his word of accountability and it's clear that with the nutjobs such as Moore there he's going to have plenty to account for.

Isn't this kinda like what Ariana Huffington did 4 years ago? Hold her own venue, nearby but not part of the convention? And some other misfits took part in her "party"....but I can't remember who.

Yes. I do remember Arianna's boyfriend, Bill Maher attended along with her. At least, that year we didn't know that he considered the Christian religion the same as voodoo and "reading chicken entrails" as he told Larry King Alive the other night.

I may have to watch C-SPAN on the internet. I've got a house full of relatives who say politics bores the heck out of them. Maybe I can convince them to watch some of it on TV.

This is in keeping with kerry sanitizing his website to remove any controversial issues (like homosexuals etc.)

And pushing for socialized health care ala Hildabeat. Should be interesting when Hildabeast gets up there and jaws about such things as health care reform.

Better yet, this convention will be many times worse than the San Francisco convention of 1988!

Progressive Groups Combine to Build Stronger Movement This Election Year

They should link-up with Milk of Magnesia for a REALLY strong "movement" this year.

ROFLOL!

That is about how "important" they are. They are so out of touch with reality it is almost hilarious. They have no idea how many people would just like to live our lives without their input. We know better how to live our lives and spend our money than they do. In other words, GET OUT OF MY LIFE, JERKS!

Sorry, I needed to say that. lol!

A spokeswoman for the Massachusetts Democratic Party told the Boston Herald that having Moore in town "adds a lot of excitement excrement to everything else going on."

Not that any more was needed ...

"Susan Estridge(sp) from Fox was saying that all speeches are going to be carefully scripted and they will not turn this into a Bush Bash Fest"

The very fact that Democrats need to be carefully scripted to avoid Bush Bashing speaks volumes as to their true nature. Anyone paying attention should be immediatley suspicious of any politician that needs to "handled" as closley as JF'nK so he will not to embarrass himself in public by doing something stupid like showing up to an Urban League meeting filled with UAW members, to talk about putting American Jobs first, in a forgien made Rolls Royce.

Opps he already did that didn't he? Guess he didn't get his "script" for that particular event.
