The UN Feeds You Well The presidential niece and Tommy Hilfiger model was named the honorary spokesperson for the United Nations Global Hunger Campaign this month and her three-day journey in Central America marks her first fact-finding mission.Bush first became interested in humanitarian causes at Princeton where she studied ethics with Peter Singer. Oh my, what an influencing person everyone should want in their child's life!
the dangerous philosopherPeter Singer's belief that animals should be treated like people gave birth to the animal-rights movement. Does he also think that people should be treated like animals? Some more info on "Mr." Singer...
The Pursuit of HappinessPrinceton professor: Sex with animals OKProfessor Peter Singer, a self-professed atheist at Presbyterian-founded Princeton University, gave a speech in McLean, Va., recently in which he declared that:
Sex with animals is all right if it is consensual. "Your dog or whatever else it is can show you when he or she wants to engage in a certain kind of contact."Peter Singer Strikes Again
This could be your kids teacher. In his latest belch, Singer reinforces his basic theory the idea that humans ain't nothing special. To make his point, In his latest belch, Singer reinforces his basic theory the idea that humans ain't nothing special.
Singer proffers that sex with animals isn't so strange, and recounts a story told to him by a woman at a conference on apes he attended last year. This is truly revolting and I can't believe this thread!
How can Americans remain so ignorant and yet be so cloyingly dolting at the same time? Just 'cause she is the POTUS's neice shouldn't give her a pass!
Acolytes for the Cult of Personality!

Now I've studied a lot of things with a lot of different people but that doesn't necessarily mean that I believed everything that they said.

President Bush deals with Democrats on a daily basis I'm sure but I don't see too much of that nonsense rubbing off on him. Hopefully Lauren got the same good genes.
P.S. I don't remember seeing anything about Lauren Bush saying that it was okay to have sex with animals.

Get a grip. She never said a word about Peter Singer and how do you know she doesn't despise his work?

I'll have to ask my Puerto Rican girlfriend if they are doing commercials en espanole.
They are an attractive family, indeed. I wish I had daughters.

She never said a word about Peter Singer...
Was she asked anything about Singer? If not, then why would she say a word about him?
...and how do you know she doesn't despise his work?
I don't know if she despises his work or not. Do you know if she despises his work? Maybe that'll come up in the next "interview".

Who cares besides you? I guess you agreed with all of your high school teachers.
If you hate this thread so much why are you here?

And was she queried about such things? If not then you probably wouldn't couldn't, and didn't see anything about that. Kind of hard to see/hear about something that isn't addressed.
Would you want your children taught by someone who thinks that such things are okay?
The acorn doesn't fall far from the tutorial tree.

Who cares besides you?
I assure you, I don't know. However, if someone else were to care they've now got a little more insight into this young woman's life and the formation of her ideas.
I guess you agreed with all of your high school teachers.
I wasn't there to agreee or disagree with my high school teachers, I was there simply to learn, not question. Questioning came after high school. I doubt I'd have graduated if I'd told them what I thought.
If you hate this thread so much why are you here?
Why do you presume that I "hate" this thread? There is absolutely nothing of substance to it! Whether I like or dislike this thread is not relevant to what I was trying to get at...that being where her ideology seems to be coming from, according to the first article...from her athiest, "animal loving" professor.

OH WOW! A survey of ONE! That has some real punch!

You are a moron.
The young woman who went to an Ivy League school while you slaved away in backwater U is out there trying to raise awareness about world hungry. What a bitch she is! My goodness, there she is on national television donating part of her salary to feed starving kids! What is she thinking!

You are a moron. The simple fact that I'm able to construct sentences, even if there are some minor errors at times, belies your assertion.
Case in point...
The young woman who went to an Ivy League school while you slaved away in backwater U is out there trying to raise awareness about world hungry. (sic) hunger
Pot, meet kettle.
And the irony of it all is you have me "slaving away" at a university while she ??? floats through on name recognition?
Isn't our education system grand. You've inspired me...Morons in Universities!
I've sure put a burr under your saddle haven't I.

BTW...My goodness, there she is on national television donating part of her salary to feed starving kids!
Where does she work, again? I don't seem to recall that being mentioned so far.
To: philman_36
She models for the Elite agency. Keep up.
I have a well earned reputation as a misspelller.

STUDENT WEB SITE LAUNCHEDWarOnHunger.orgOver 300 million children are either too hungry to go to school, or attend classes but dont receive a meal, Lauren Bush said. For just $34--the cost of two CDs, we can change a childs life for an entire school year. What a donation!
To: annyokie
She models for the Elite agency. And she
"pimps" "works" for the United Nations?
She isn't endearing me to her!
Keep up.
Go on, acolyte.
If it's good enough for Linda Ronstadt it's good enough for Lauren Bush as well!
To: philman_36
And you donated >$34?
Since you're probably math challenged, that's MORE THAN THIRTY FOUR DOLLARS.
