A Kerry presidency will herald the Long Twilight of America, in my none-too-humble opinion. Sadly, there are enough of the "I hate Boosh! And you should, too!" crowd ( they are also no friends of America or Americans ) that there's a fair chance he'll weasel into office.

We need to seen Kerry's complete military record, including the nomination forms for his awards, his medical records, and his request for curtailment based on three PHs. As a former naval officer and Vietnam veteran, I agree with the above analysis of Kerry's fitness reports.

kerry, testimony before Congress, 22 April, 1971, kerry says, "I have been to Paris. I have talked with both delegations at the peace talks, that is to say the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and the Provisional Revolutionary Government,...."*(not on any authorised mission by the U.S. Government or by the U.S. military, kerry and his VVAW group meets and negotiates with the then enemy).

"revamp the U.S. military", read as kerry's plan to PURGE the U.S. Military of Pro U.S. Military Veterans and Republicans, make it totally dependant on U.N. forces support for any significant achievement capable military(similar to france,germany, etc.), Turn home based U.S. Armed Forces, Intelligence agencies and Law Enforcement agencies into the democratic party's{including CPUSA and DSA} Praetorian Guard!!!!


kerry stabbed U.S. in the back continually since his return from Viet Nam. How much more backstabbing from this 22 April, 1971 testimony(self confessed traitor) before Congress that he(kerry) met with the then enemy in Paris, are we supposed to stand????

This is the part of the SITREPS much of the document was talking about.

In these types of fitness reports, you basically ignore the headings, and read the document from left to right as "best to worst", with the far left column, "not observed" meaning either they really didn't observe it or just don't want to comment. This clearly puts Kerry "out of the loop" for significant advancement, as he's rated average or below average in most categories. As someone who has filled out (and been subject to) numerous similar evaluations, these things have more grade inflation than an all-district running back's report card.

The text underneath reeks of an officer trying not to say something bad about a subordinate. Anytime you compliment someone's appearance, he presents a very neat appearance and meets people well, you're reaching for ANYTHING good to say. A report that is all "top marks" means the guy isn't a problem, and you wouldn't cry if he was assigned to you. Anything else means "stay away."

It doesn't sound like Kerry's commanders rated him as even 'center mass', but lower. That makes him a pretty poor officer, and one his peers would try to encourage to get out before he embarrassed the Officer Corps. It is my understanding that commanders decide fairly quickly whether someone should stay in or not. It looks to me that decision was reached on the Gridley. And the Gridley's CO was right on the money.
