one of the few media reports that calls an "arsenal" correctly. most "arsenals" are people with more than one gun. Yeah, 1,300 does denote a small "arsenal"..
I think there was a story about a week ago where a guy had a knife, bat, & a .22 under his bed and it was called an ARSENAL....

It would seem that the journalist covering the knife, bat, gun & stun gun bent the rules a bit on the use of the term "arsenal":
(satirical)
by Dr. Michael S. Brown
December 22, 1999
The first principle to remember is that subtle use of terminology can covertly influence the reader. Adjectives should be chosen for maximum anti-gun effect. When describing a gun, attach terms like "automatic," "semi-automatic," "large caliber," "deadly," "high powered," or "powerful". Almost any gun can be described by one or more of these terms. More than two guns should be called an "arsenal".
This likely qualifies them as some sort of anti-gun pioneer, utilizing arsenal by combining such a paltry home defense supply.

I've always wanted to have my own Gun Buyback Program, you know, to protect the Chilluns. I will only buy really dangerous guns like pre ban semi-autos, Colt Single Action Armies (These guns were made for the Army so no civilian should own one!), and the most dangerous gun of all , the drilling (No one in this country needs a 3 barreled elephant gun).
I'll pay up to $100 each, and I'll get all these guns off the street! (And into my gun safe).

Can i use that as my tag line?

I will NOT turn in my weapons. I will NOT surrender them. I WILL die with one of them in my hands first. How about registration complete with fingerprints, DNA samples and retinal scans. That's part one of thep program. You down with that? Or will you become an 'insta-felon'?

"When it is a crime to owm ANY gun, may as well own a machine gun as a musket."I've been impressed by the number of privately held RPGs in Somolia and Iraq.

You can take my weapons, after you take my life.
