To tell the truth by your reasoning all of Free Republics topics and posts could be considered piling on one person or another as does the DNC websites with such voracity. You are allowed your opinion on this matter as I am. Good day. (grin)

NO, Denzel kept talking over Streep and Couric everytime he didn't want to "hear" their words. That's disrespect and worse it's male chauvinistic disrespect TALKING LOUDLY OVER ANOTHERS attempt to respond. It's rude to cut some one off when they've allowed you to have your say in matter.
If he was rude, so be it. I didn't see the interview. But in the limited context of what was printed, I just didn't see what was so offensive as to cause such a visceral reaction among posters (not just you). Nothing personal, and you are certainly entitled to your point of view upon viewing the interview. The quotes just didn't seem like all that big of a deal, and I was puzzled by the reactions.
