Berger is a fool, but not stupid enough to throw out documents that he wants to get rid of. Whatever he destroyed was probably put in a cross-cut shredder, doused in gasoline, set afire, and the ashes scattered around his backyard.
However, for him to admit that would sound a little suspicious.

I imagine you're right. And since it was the fall, a burning garbage can wouldn't have aroused anyone's suspicions. He could have just said that he was burning leaves, and could even have mixed the shredded docs in with leaves.
Since he took many restroom breaks I guess his new excuse could be that the restroom was out of toilet paper and the only thing I could think of was to use documents. They are safe from prying eyes since they were flushed in the building.

Rethinking Berger's ridiculous statement, ascribing his stuffing classified documents into his pants and socks as "sloppiness."
The only possible explanation is he was apologizing to his taskmasters for getting caught, and trying to stave off the inevitable retribution.

Uh, clearly, Dick Clarke and the sinkEmperor's regime goons disdain the American people so much that they cared not a whit that terrorists were on the verge of killing perhaps tens-of-thousands! That smarmy little puke should be hanged for aiding and abetting the terrorists. And that would be just the start of the purge to cleanse this nation of clintonism.
Well atleast Sandy Berger had reasons to KEEP HIS UNDERWEAR ON, while Clinton kept unzipping for other activiies. What is it with these people? Always trying to put something ... there.

I just think that Berger and his partners in crime, esp. Don William, are so used to getting a free ride from their fans, that they have contempt not only for the truth, but for even projecting the appearance of the truth.

Read the articles, I don't know what "took numerous breaks" means to you in the english language but I do know what it means to me.

I think this is one of the biggest scandals in American history, and yet I fear that the media will bury it, the way they did the Nick Berg story, and in contrast to Watergate, that none of the guilty will even be charged, much less imprisoned.
