They didn't need Washington (another Southerner) to come and rescue them with an army.

Sure it's treasonous, just like the American Revolutionary War was treason against the crown. Sometimes, a little treason can be a good thing. Damned shame we had to stop fightin'.

I happen to like King's style. He doesn't tend to jump on anyone very much; just steers the conversation in a general direction and squeezes thoughts and opinions out of his guests. I want to know what Larry's guests think - not what Larry thinks.

And calling it 'Joisey' tells me you didn't stick around for very long. I'ved lived in NJ for several years now, and I've never heard someone living in NJ pronounce it 'Joisey'. You've been listening to too many folks coming in from the city. They say 'Joisey'.

There are plenty of stupid people in NJ. There are also plenty of stupid people in MD, VA, NC, and everywhere else I've stayed for any length of time. I'm born and bred Southerner, but pointing out a geographical region and calling everyone there stupid is just plain childish.
