"If that happens, all Hell is going to break loose."

I hope your scenario comes true. I will buy stock in popcorn companies, because the RATS will do a political version of Mt. St. Helens. So many things to hope for. The wheels coming off. Thar she blows. Coming unglued/unhinged. Fire in the hole. Katy bar the door. Lord Lord, let Soul Seeker be right.

It may be wrong, but I'm actually anticipating their reaction if we win the Presidency and tack on more seats in the Senate. I'm aware they'd be even more dangerous in their desperation but I'd rather weed out their influence in our process now than allow their ideology to simmer for another generation.

Though, I'm not predicting we will win the election.

I'm not in the group that believes it is hopeless. I'm not convinced G.W. is running an inept campaign. I do have questions about the validity of the polls. I do have faith in the American people that when the decision comes they will choose G.W. BUT I can't deny the rabid anti-Bush crowd exists. We'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out. In the process doing everything in our power to ensure the right result.

One thing I'm certain of, IF this were to all occur you are right in your comparison it'll be the equivalent of Mt. St. Helens exploding. Bigger, infact. Imagine the reaction of the world. LOL
