DAILY EXPRESS Turning Tale (Hillary buzz)
THE NEW REPUBLIC ^ | 7/22/04 | MARTIN PERETZ

---SNIP---

A new book by Christopher Andersen will hit The New York Times bestseller list this week. It is called American Evita, and it is about Hillary Rodham Clinton.

She pushed herself into a prime time, opening night spot at the Democratic convention after the Kerry folk had relegated her to just one in an "all-the-girls" appearance of the party's women senators, with Barbara Mikulski doing the speaking.

How Rodham Clinton maneuvered herself out of this is hard to tell. But one clue is that the Democratic National Committee is still run by Clintonians.

And, while we're mentioning arch names, there is Teresa Heinz Kerry, more than a bit on the haughty side herself. Heinz Kerry has certainly put John Edwards in his place in announcing that he is her husband's "second running-mate." This is fair warning of how she sees herself as first lady.

And heaven help anyone who tries to change that.

In the words of Democrat Zell Miller...the Democrat Party is a national party no more....I really wish Zell Miller and Joe Lieberman, etc., would break away from this socialist party and form their own Democrat party....

Zell Miller is a man among men. He will address the Republican convention. Miller who is retiring has said he did not leave the party the Democrat party left him.

Under no circumstances would I put LIEberman in the same category as the esteemed Miller. Oh, LIEberman makes sounds like he's a quote conservative unquote but when push comes to shove he'll show his ragged liberal credentials.

He used to give out Silver Sewer awards to Hollyweird for the filth they put out. Then as Gore's VP pick, he crawled on his knees to the moguls for campaign donations.

Walk in conservative ranks? I wouldn't let LIEberman walk my dog.

Read this about the scam LIEb pulled on the backs of the unborn to get into Congress.

Hillry plans to keep control over the DNC, it will be interesting to see how the "bleublood" and haughty rich wife take the rug pulling.

Theresa's not so subtle put-down of Edwards was largely unnoticed by the press....Edwards is handsome, but my husband is smart. Kerry isn't handsome? Edwards isn't smart? LOL.

I can't imagine Theresa's too thrilled that Bill and Hillary are still in charge - in spite of Theresa's money and John's superior credentials (he WAS in Vietnam, you know).
