Somebody in an earlier thread said that there are cameras and tapes are reviewed.
Could be the other shoe to drop...
There's more to this than meets the eye...I know about National Security investigations having been through one. Investigating and prosecuting what Sandy Berger did doesn't take this long to complete.
It smells more like an espionage investigation, rather than a case like Deutche in which he mishandled classified. The Bureau was looking for the 'big fish'.
I've heard it both ways. We'll have to wait and see. I'm hoping there are some tapes and/or photos.

Maybe.

Then you obviously know more about it than me (I know nothing). I would say it might take time if you're following a very tangled and complicated web populated by some very powerful people with a lot of walls built around them. We can hope anyway. It's starting to look very, very messy indeed.
It's beginning to be clear the mainstream press really can't afford to sit on the sidelines on this one, because some close competitor is going to be a player and get ahead of them. Single exception may be the NYT, but they're in an alternate universe. Even if this could be suppressed in the major newspapers and networks, talk radio, Fox and internet sites like FR and Drudge will run with it. That's why the WaPo is starting to get with it. They'll follow the lines of the web once they're started, they can't afford not to. I also wonder if the DOJ or FBI doesn't need to get Sandy Berger into custody immediately -- in large part for protecting him.
