It appears UN numbers and DOT numbers are not the same. The DOT number is consistent with the previously reported substance.

Now channel 8 (KFMB)has a breaking news banner running on the bottom of the screen talking about where the closures are and about the mandatory evacuations.

OK, UN3264 is a generic for n.o.s., (not otherwise specified) acid mix. Don't have a table handy. Those are UN numbers used on the DOT placards. If the exact item doesn't have a specific #, it gets a generic one. I hate numbers, what does a number tell you? What does a number mean when you happen upon a mess and you don't have a library, computer, or friggin' bureaucrat handy?
