You should REALLY check out Discovery Channel's DVD "Navy SEALS" before you start making such accusations. Better still, go to Fort Bragg and see what the Rangers or Green Berets think of such insane statements. You better be a very good runner after you state it to such people.
You're missing the point of my statement. Furthermore, it's absurd to claim that a society has a "warrior mentality" simply because one-thousanth of 1% of the population is a SOCOM operator.
That's sort of like the communists claiming that Soviet Russia was an economic powerhouse simply because they had a couple of millionaires.
By "warrior mentality", all I mean is that 1) you recognize that things such as life, property, and Freedom are worth fighting for, dying for, and killing for, and 2) that you personally take responsiblity for acquiring the tools and training to do so.
Most Americans lack it thanks largely to 50 years of programming by the state.
