However, the standard Clinton playbook for dealing with damaging news was to release it on Friday aftrenoon, along with the appropriate spin, so that their media sycophants would play the spin over the weekend, and by Monday moring it would be "yesterday's news". The fact that this story broke on Monday belies that te "leakers" did not have Berger&Kerry's best interests in mind.
