She was abducted, gang-raped, starved and locked in a closet.
She was 19 when all this happened.
She never killed anyone. She did her time and is an upstanding citizen today.
She was also pardoned by three chief executives: Gov. Jerry Brown, Pres. Jimmy Carter and Pres. Bush 1, I believe.
