This is going to be more of an inconvenience than she realizes. I live in Boston (a mere couple of blocks from Kerry's house) and know plenty of folks who were forced to use their vacation time next week to accomodate this liberal lovefest.Hotels were strongarmed by the city to give the visiting Democrats preferential rates. Many of my neighbors (the types who plan to vote for Kerry, and talk about it ad nauseum) are leaving anyway because they fear a major terrorist attack either on the Fleet Center or on Kerry's home. I live a block from the Fleet Center's outer "security perimeter" (which runs along Cambridge St., one of the roads that will likely be impossible to travel on for 8 hours/day) and will be most grateful if my car and home escape vandalism next week. Justified stressing over one's home and belongings is more than an "inconvenience"
I had the misfortune of visiting Hanscombe AFB in Lexington for work last year.
What do people do out there?! I asked the desk for a descent local place and they tried to send me to Chili's. I said: "No, like 'local'--where the natives eat and drink?" So they tried to send me to an Indian restaurant in Arlington Heights.
I spent the evenings drinking beer and eating in my room...
I had the pleasure of flying out of Loganistan Airport the next day.
You may have your reasons for staying, but I have never hated a place so much in my life--when I mentioned how much the place sucks to the checkout guy at Trader Joe's (I needed more beer), he said: "Yeah, that's why everybody here is moving to New Hampshire..."

AlQuada isn't known for killing their own candidates.
I read this morning that they've removed the trash cans from 30 Boston streets including around Kerry's neighborhood, Beacon Hill, and the residents are fuming. Ha!
