This has got to be the biggest scandal in American history. Clinton not only failed to defend America against a terrorist organization operating on American soil that he personally was aware of, he was involved in a conspiracy of silence to ensure their continued operation. He didn't notify law enforcement, and he didn't notify the Bush administration (the acting government of the United States). Clinton did - and said - nothing about a known terrorist organization dedicated to (in their own words) "the complete destruction of the United States of America."
It gets much worse.
Clinton then was involved in a plot to steal classified information that revealed that he knew Al Qaeda was operational in the United States as far back as 1999.

So big, that the NYT put it on page A-16 and the Chicago Tribune had it on page A-10. It's a "non-starter for these tabloids.
I should think the 911 families' attorneys would have a profound interest in all of this.....
Makes one wonder if all of the TWA 800 conspiricy theorists may have been right. If they hid this, what else might they have hidden? Hmm. No tin foil here, either. ;)

Unfortunately, CBS said tonight that law enforcement sources said there would be no charges against Berger.

Your post reminds me of a great point I heard someone make on a conservative talk show: We should have Congress declare a "War On Terror." Then this would be legally actionable death penalty treason.
