KERRY LEARNED OF BERGER INVESTIGATION YESTERDAY

7/20/04 5:14PM

A campaign source very close to US Senator John Kerry says the campaign only learned of the investigation into Samuel Berger yesterday.

That fact may get the Democratic candidate off the hook a little bit, because Kerry can legitmately ask, how was he to know Berger was unhinged enough to do something so outrageous?

BULL .. He has the FBI check out the background of his VP and he doesn't check out what's going on with the FBI showing up at his Foreign policy advisers home and office???

I don't think that will really help Kerry, except with the true believers. He wants to be POTUS. He's supposed to have good judgment.

Still, it reflects on his judgement of people.

Can he REALLY have any credibility to criticize Bush over Rumsfeld now?

"KERRY LEARNED OF BERGER INVESTIGATION YESTERDAY"

Suggested response: Didn't we have enough of this over the 8 years Bill Clinton was President? I mean, Bill was always out of the loop, never knew when those who worked for him were up to no good.

This is proof that John Kerry is/may be as poor a judge of character as Bill Clinton. Do you, average voter, want another 4 years of Dem rule in which you wake every single morning wondering which member of the Administration is in trouble today?
