I have used the NA, too. Also the NY Regional, which is just as tough to research. What you say is true, but there is no excusing stealing classified material, particularly the drafts of the report in question.

If he had needed the time, he would have made requests which would have been met. Jeez, Jamie Gorelick would have signed a leaf had it blown into her office.

This has been investigated for six months. I believe the conclusions have been drawn and a decision regarding Berger is being made--thus why this was leaked.

I agee with you. He should not have taken the materials. It is theft. Still, people are speculating about motive.
Most people who take home classified documents just want to be able to work late. They aren't spies.

So far, the Republican Senators have not been able to demonstrate any link between Berger's actions and Kerry.
If they knew anything, we would know, too.
