I hope they have some basis for suggesting the info got to the Kerry campaign. The MSM will let Dems overstate a case, but not Republicans. Everything the Reps say needs to be air-tight; if the Reps make careless allegations, THAT will become the story.

I disagree. They did NOT state Kerry did it; they announced the suspicious timing of the Kerry camp announcing their Nat. Sec. plan. The Repubs have stood back too long waiting to have everything pinned down legally while the Dems direct the direction of a story--like the Dems have come out swinging about Bergen's honesty, inadvertant pants stuffing, etc.

When Fox reported this this morning, they said the Republicans were pointing to a specific meeting Kerry had with reporters in February (another poster said they heard the date Feb 27). I think they have very specific information they are talking about. Anyone following our intrepid Republicans knows they don't go making baseless charges. Usually we're treated to "let's see what the investigation finds". I think they do have a basis for raising this concern.
