Assuming your mother-in-law has access to a computer/internet, have her go to DennisPrager.com and then click on Written by Dennis - then Are You a Liberal? She may very well be a Republican and not even know it. It's worth a try. She only has access to TV and she eats up every word that any liberal happens to be telling her. She is totally debendant on Social Security and Medicare and believes it when liberals tell her that conservatives will take it from her. Meanwhile her conservative son-in-law, me, who doesn't even like her directs his church offering to her so that she can pay her bills. What-are-ya-gonna-do?

Again, assuming she can read - buy her Hugh Hewitt's new, terrific book, If It's Not Close, They Can't Cheat. Also, recommend Dennis Prager's books. You also might try printing his "test" from the internet and give it to her. Does your wife, her daughter, agree with her mother? Have HER give your mom-in-law Hewitt's and Prager's books. She might even appreciate it.

She is as much a prisoner of new information as the entire population of many third world countries, like North Korea. ALL the radios are tuned to only pick up the official Country controlled stations. She is putting herself into the same boat. She needs to listen to Dr Phil and find out about being responsible for her actions.
