They publish a lot of my letters here but we're in a conservative area.
I've been told that if you live in a liberal area and they won't publish your letters to try more conservative newspapers, even if it's not your state.
Also, please note something important I try and tell freepers wherever appropriate.
Do not ever post a submitted letter to the editor on the net until it's been published. Most editors use plagarism software similar to what colleges use.
One time I posted a letter to the editor about the economy before it was published. The editor wrote me (e-mail) that they couldn't publish it because it was posted on Free Republic. I tried to convince him that I was Peach but he couldn't verify that naturally!
