didn't even get to start on this one until yesterday after lunch. :(

Well, one would never know it. It looks like at least two days worth of work to me.....but I think I must be much slower than you. LOL. My state posts always take me, at the very least, two solid days to complete. :-(

The good news is.......I am almost finished with this one! Yippee!

Hi Mama Bear, am still looking forward to helping you with your NC Post. At least the western side of the State. :)

Okay dokie! I sure appreciate your help. Start compiling the information and/or graphics that you want included...and we can get to work on it. :-)

I'd like to include something about the Builtmore Estate. Do you want to tackle that? We didn't get a chance to tour it when we were in NC, so I haven't seen it in person.

"One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."

to this day, Armstrong still insists that he said "one small step for a man."

I started to mention you by name, Aqua, as having been there! You and one other Freeper responded on a previous thread.

Yes indeed - Cocoa Beach is correct as being very near the Cape.
I remember in the 40's my Aunt Ruth turning down an offer to buy beachfront property on Cocoa Beach for $60 an ACRE..:))

Now, per inch, probably?!
LOL

Gosh, Aqua - thank you! I didn't expect to see you today - thought you'd be off on a little getaway!

Hmmmmm, we've heard it as for "one small step for *man*" so many times, it just sounds better that way! Thanks for dropping in, Phsst, and your input on today's thread. :)

LOL!
I shall hie myself off to hopefully blissful slumber, maybe this time without dark dreams of being undead.

Hey, Sistah! Do we have Rusty yet?! I know how anxious you are.....and we haven't seen you today, which is unusual, too! Hope it means you're picking up your new little one and getting him settled in!

thought you'd be off on a little getaway!

The only getaway this week will be to a different town for a doctor's appointment (nothing serious, just the dermatologist).

Whew! I'm glad it's just dermatologist - teenage acne, of course, huh? :)

Yes, indeed - perspective.

I remember in 1971 renting a lovely house on a corner lot in Port Malabar, Florida, (large created community) with 3 bedrooms amd 2 full baths - kitchen, separate dining room, and living room with screened over swimming pool through sliding glass doors.
It was 15' x 30,' 'cool' concrete deck, had a cabana on the end, and was filled from a well in the yard.

We thought it was 'steep' at $140 a month, stepping up from $125 per..:))
