And some are even catching on to the fact that the notion that they can win more Latino votes by supporting permissive immigration policies is sheer garbage and is not supported by the smallest shred of evidence.

I brought this fact up last week on one of these threads. It supports what I've said, that the number one target should be Joe Baca.

Regarding the question about what specific legislation the grades are based on: I used to look these up but by now I have confidence that betterimmigration.com grades accurately reflect my views on these issues. I believe you can get the details on betterimmigration.com.

Regarding making Baca the primary target: Hard to argue with that one. I would make Baca and Dreier "co-prime targets".

I do believe Baca is beatable. He only won his district by 25,000 votes.

While a defeat of Dreier would send a message to the Republican Party, a defeat of Baca would send one to the Democratic Party. And what a message it would send. It would say, not only is the "pro immigration Latino voter strategy" a disastrous loser for you guys in the coming years, but you can't even win on that agenda in left wing Democrat districts with massive illegal alien populations.
